Welcome to the online home of Dorcas Medical Mission (Dorcas
Medical ). We would like to thank you for taking the time to learn
about our mission and the work we are doing organization, which
was established in 2000 to provide medical, surgical, dental and
vision care to poor and underserved persons. We are a
dedicated group of approximately 500 medical, surgical and
dental volunteers who are not paid - but who use personal
vacation time each year to travel to our mission fields in order to
help the underprivileged. Dorcas Medical renders services to
over twelve thousand needy persons on each mission, and
accomplishes this using only 2% of donated money for overhead
costs. That means 98% of your donations go directly to the
missions.

Latifa Yussef, 4 years old, was born with the genetically
inherited and physically disfiguring disease known as
Neurofibroma. During Dorcas Medical's Tamale, Ghana, West
Africa Mission, initial funding was provided to perform
preliminary test on Latifa's condition. Dorcas Medical needs to
raise approximately US$6,000 to provide Latifa with the surgical
procedure(s) that will change her life forever. Kindly make a
